Alumni

The URJ Kesher experience does not end at the end of the trip. There are many ways to stay engaged with your fellow travelers and with the Birthright Israel and URJ Kesher alumni network as a whole. Here are ways to get started…

Your Trip Facebook Group

URJ Kesher creates a unique Facebook group for each and every trip that we organize. These groups are a great medium for connecting with your fellow URJ Kesher participants before the trip starts and for many years to come. If you have already been confirmed on a trip, you will receive a notification with your group’s specific Facebook link. If you have not received this message, please let us know, and we will send it out you.

Share the Gift With Your Friends

As a URJ Kesher alum, you have a unique opportunity to share the Birthright Israel gift with your eligible friends & family members. Friends of URJ Kesher alumni are automatically qualified to receive priority trip selection status with URJ Kesher when you enter their names on the Priority form page. At the conclusion of your trip, you will receive a “welcome back” message with detailed instructions on how to take advantage of this offer with URJ Kesher. Help your friends get to Israel for free and you can reminisce when they return about your Birthright experience. If you are interested in becoming a campus or community rep to earn some extra cash and help us find more young adults for our URJ Kesher trips email [email protected]

Stay Connected to URJ Kesher

The Union for Reform Judaism offers a number of programs and resources for college students and graduates. Check out https://alumni.nfty.org/ for more information on how you can stay connected with the URJ family of young adult programs following your trip. Connect with other young adults on your campus or community and celebrate Jewish holidays with new friends.

Regional Alumni Facebook Groups

Starting Winter 2017 we are creating alumni Facebook groups, so you connect with other URJ Kesher alumni the area that you live.  This is a great opportunity to meet new friends and network both socially and professionally with like-minded peers. Join the Facebook group closest to you and check out events and other exciting opportunities that are posted.
